Who We Are

We are a unique and dynamic congregation devoted to the spiritual growth and development of the contemporary Jew. In our congregation we seek to encounter the richness and depth of the Jewish tradition in its classical, contemporary and cutting edge formats. We are egalitarian, progressive and religiously liberal in our approach even as we draw from the best of all the Jewish religious denominations.While most congregations identify themselves exclusively with one of the denominations in modern Judaism, our approach is transdenominational and interdenominational. We are inspired by all approaches to Judaism and by blending them, our congregation benefits from that dynamic interaction.In our synagogue, we place a special emphasis upon spirituality, meaning, ethics and values. We stress creativity, innovation and relevance as part of defining who we are.
